Golf Ball Retrievers

One way to save on lost balls is using a golf ball retriever. Golf ball retrievers are used to get your ball out of all kinds of hazards like water thickets, woods and other places out of reach. Some older folks can use retrievers to ease the strain of bending over to grab their golf balls over and over again. Originally these retrievers were use by golf course maintenance workers to retrieve lost balls out of the water and other areas that they are unable to reach. Many balls are retrieved off the golf course and are cleaned and resold. Think of all the money that players could save if they just retrieved their golf balls vs. buying new ones.

Many brands exist out on the market today for golf ball retrievers. A brand called Clay-weasels are designed to keep the ball in the scoop while retrieving out of soft clay, silty sand or water. Just about all of the types of useful retrievers are designed to fit into any type of golf bag. These days more and more you'll see more people scooping up their balls out of the drink. If you can see it why not just scoop it up, clean it off and put it back in play or in your bag.

Another great unit is the hound golf player grip. This device allows you to pick one up without twisting the retriever. Loosing the white things every year after year can really add up. Lot of money is made in retrieving, re-conditioning and reselling these items. Why let others take them when you can grab some every time you're out on the course and just them up so you don't have to buy them every again.

To recap using retrievers you can recover logo balls saving a lot of time and money. Before selecting a retriever make sure it fits comfortably in your golf bag. Also make sure the grip is comfortable and the unit will actually grip the ball so it doesn't fall out after retrieval. Check the extension length the longer the more you'll be able to reach. Shop around and find out which one is best for you. I'm sure that if you take it out on the course and it doesn't fit your need most stores will allow you to either return for full refund or exchange for a better golf ball retriever.
